Global Myeloma Roundtable Guides Understanding of the COVID-19 Crisis |
The IMF hosted a Global Roundtable of myeloma experts from Asia, the U.K., the U.S., and Europe this week in order to begin developing IMWG treatment recommendations for patients during the pandemic. Among the findings: a striking absence of cases of COVID-19 infections in myeloma patients in Asia. IMF Chairman Dr. Brian G.M. Durie shares important insights from the Roundtable discussions. |

Learn About the Use of Teclistamab for Relapsed/Refractory Myeloma |
In this video, Dr. Saad Z. Usmani (Levine Cancer Institute —Charlotte, North Carolina) explains the initial results from an ongoing study of teclistamab in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. Teclistamab (JNJ-64007957) is a bispecific BCMA (B-cell maturation antigen) plus CD3-antibody that induces T cell-mediated cytotoxicity against BCMA-expressing myeloma cells. |
