enjoyed seeing all of you last year and look forward to seeing
you all again this year. YOU are what made this event a
tremendous success and with your help, we will be able to repeat
that success this year.
In May of 2011, Carolyn and I retired and moved from New Jersey to The Villages in Florida to enjoy what we worked so hard to achieve. Unfortunately in November of that same year, she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and so began the long and tough process of treatments. While undergoing two stem cell transplants and several rounds of chemotherapy we were told of the wonderful work being done by the International Myeloma Foundation. We attended a few of the annual meetings in Boca Raton and hence inspired Carolyn to start the Multiple Myeloma support group in The Villages. Carolyn's battle ended in October 2015 not without tremendous help and encouragement from the IMF. It is for this reason that this fundraiser is being arranged in her memory to benefit the continuing work of the IMF and The Villages Multiple Myeloma Support Group.
