2nd Annual Walk for Myeloma Miracles

 June 20, 2020
Central Park
11200 Base Line Rd.
Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91701
Out of an abundance of caution, the Walk for Myeloma Miracles 5K has been postponed until June 20, 2020!  As you know, myeloma patients are especially susceptible to viruses because of their immune systems.  Since we have a new date already scheduled, please continue to build your teams!
We look forward to seeing you in late Spring!  Be well!

Please join the local Inland Empire and Inland Valley WARRIORS battling multiple myeloma at their Second Annual Walk for Myeloma Miracle fundraiser.

We are dedicating our walk this year to three Warriors we lost in 2019:

Tom Gay, Ralph Hayden and Keith Mitchell

The IMF is dedicated to raising community awareness, funding critical research and providing programs locally and nationally for patients and caregivers. International Myeloma Foundation is a non-profit public corporation, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.

Registration Online (closes June 16th): $30, includes t-shirt
Day of Registration fee $40, t-shirt not guaranteed
Onsite Registration begins at 7:30 am
Walk Time: 9 am

Teams are encouraged to design their own shirt to wear at this year's walk. Our sponsors will be the judges. Be creative! Teams with their own T-shirts can opt out of receiving a walk T-shirt. The prize for the winning team is a gift set for up to 20 people from Total Wines.

We will also be giving away Raffle Prizes and a 50/50 Drawing

This is not a timed event, it's a casual walk. The shortest distance on the trail is 2 miles, but participants can opt to go 5 miles. It is also bicycle friendly.

Multiple myeloma is a complex (and often misdiagnosed) cancer of the bone marrow that attacks and destroys bone. In the United States, there are over 1,000 new cases of myeloma diagnosed each month. In the past 30 years, there has been a dramatic (400%) increase in the incidence of multiple myeloma. Once a disease of the elderly, people in their twenties, thirties and forties are now being diagnosed with myeloma.

If you would like to raise funds and participate in the walk, please register here.
